Walton Raiders Varsity Defeats East Paulding, 6-1

Walton Raiders Varsity beat East Paulding 6-1 on Friday.

East Paulding got on the board in the first inning when Seth Grenon doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Walton Raiders Varsity evened things up at one in the top of the second inning. A sacrifice bunt by Ben Anderson scored one run for Walton Raiders Varsity.

Walton Raiders Varsity pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning.

Walton Raiders Varsity notched three runs in the seventh inning. Micaiah Williams and Harry Mintz all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Colin Stewart led things off on the mound for Walton Raiders Varsity. He lasted four innings, allowing five hits and one run while striking out two and walking one.

Grenon led things off on the hill for East Paulding. He lasted four innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out four and walking one. #21, #19, and Connor Vaughn each contributed in relief for East Paulding.
