Who are the Diamond Girls?

The Diamond Girls is a service-oriented club that helps support and promote the Walton Baseball Program.

What do the Diamond Girls do?

• Work the concession stand during games • Sell raffle tickets during games • Work the admission gate • Run the Diamond Girls’ social media • Photography during games, practices, and special team events • Homecoming float and parade • Attend Walton Baseball Banquets • Help set up pregame meals • Assist with check-in for special events held at the Yard

The majority of the Diamond Girls’ time is needed in the spring (February-May). However, there are times in the fall when the Diamond Girls’ assistance will be needed, including but not limited to the homecoming parade/float building, and at least 2 days needed for special Walton Baseball Events at the Yard. There will be a minimum requirement (determined at a later date) to work a certain number of events and home games in the spring. Please read all requirements of a Diamond Girl before signing up.

How much does it cost?

The cost to be a member is $25, a shirt will be included!

What positions are available?

Leadership positions are available for those interested. All leadership positions may require extra time, which means more volunteer hours for your work!

Co-Presidents (Filled): Eddyne Benoit and Grace Manus

The Co-Presidents will be the main contact points for the Diamond Girls. They will work directly with the liaison between the Diamond Girls and the Booster Club, De Moehler, and the Diamond Girls Club sponsor teacher, Farrah Gamel.

Vice President (open)

The Vice President must be a sophomore or junior and will work closely with the President, helping keep track of the volunteer opportunities and manage the Diamond Girls.

Social Media Manager (Open)

The Social Media Manager is in charge of running the social media accounts (Instagram and possibly TikTok) for the Diamond Girls. This position is for someone who is interested in social media management, social media marketing, and content creation for their future and wants to gain some experience. Required to post about major Walton Baseball Events, game day content, as well as Diamond Girl content. Will have lots of creative freedom to make the account fun to follow, and will have help from a local social media manager.

Photographers

Multiple photographers are needed to help take photos and videos of the players and the Diamond Girls during games, some practices, and events. Photos will be used on the Walton Baseball social media as well as Diamond Girls’ social media. Will work directly with the Social Media Manager for the Diamond Girls. Any photos can also be used to build your professional photography portfolio. If you have a camera you want to use that’s great, if not, a camera will be provided that you must return after using it.
